What a way to finish out this blessed decade. This past weekend I attended the 27th Annual World Congress hosted by the American Academy of Anti-Aging. I am truly blessed and grateful to God for this opportunity and experience.
Together with a team of other Integrative & Functional Medicine Practitioners, I attended the largest, highly recognized event in Integrative Medicine. Over the past weekend I maximized my clinical education and collaborated with a diverse global audience of world leading, expert health care practitioners and professionals. I am so excited for the future of Integrative Medicine!
Sunday I graduated from my Fellowship in Integrative Cancer Therapies. I am humbled yet honored to be board certified and double fellowship trained in Anti-Aging, Metabolic and Functional Medicine and Integrative Cancer Therapies.
I had the pleasure to collaborate with world-class practitioners who specialize in Integrative Health. . We all had one common goal; seeking to optimize health outcomes, reform healthcare standards, and ultimately redefine the practice of modern medicine to incorporate and integrate Functional Medicine.
As if that wasn’t enough, I also completed a module in Advanced Cardiovascular health studying with world experts in Integrative Cardiovascular Medicine and took a module in Advanced Cardiovascular Health. These sub-specializations allow me to better help my patients and continue to stay on the cutting edge of the ever evolving, dynamic growing field of Integrative and Functional Medicine so I will always stay current and updated in the Integrative and Functional Medicine field.
I was blessed beyond measure to meet with some of the most advanced integrative doctors in the world and to finish off 2019 with an enormous wealth of knowledge to implement into my practice!
Spending the weekend learning from and collaborating with my greatest mentors was wonderful, but the people I was most ready to share this experience and knowledge with were my patients. They are the reason I stay on the cutting edge of the Integrative and Functional Medicine field. They are the reason I continue to add to my education and pursue the path of healing that God has laid before me. So, here is giant Thank You and a great big hug to all of my patients!
